         What is AGLOCO?

AGLOCO is a new concept of Internet Marketing. Even more, it's a new concep of using the Internet, where not only you surf the web, but also get paid to do it.

AGLOCO - which stands for A Global Community - was inspired by a recent Internet trend called Social Networks, sites where the content is generated by the users. For example: You Tube, My Space, Flickr, etc. The business and publicity potential of these networks is immense. Take the recent deal where Google purchased You Tube for over a billion dollars for example.

The problem is that the user generates the content but get nothing for it. How could the users get a piece of this huge profit?

How does AGLOCO generates revenue ?

AGLOCO generates it's revenue mainly by selling ads. Announcers pay AGLOCO to show their ads to the mebers of the network. Ads are shown in the Viewbar, a software that you install on your computer, that shows a small bar just above Windows taskbar.

                       

On this bar, besides the ads, there's a search box (similar to the Google search box embedded in most browsers). When you make a search through the Viewbar, AGLOCO is payed a commission by the search engine.

Another way of generating revenue is when an AGLOCO member purchases a service of product through the Viewbar.

Looks like AGLOCO decided to release the Viewbar for everybody at the same time. As I logged in today, there was a Download Viewbar button right below the stats table.

Installation is quick and simple. The software takes 20 Mb of memory, which is about the same as Google Talk. It can be positioned on the bottom of the screen, right above the Windows Taskbar, or on the top of the screen. Here’s a screenshot of what it looks like.

Right now it’s showing text ads. I found a bug: the Tools button (at the right of the search field) shuts down the Viewbar when clicked.

UPDATE: This bug has been fixed.

The search works fine, and you can choose which search engine to use. The only improvement I see is that all searches open a new browser, instead of using currently opened browser windows. Remember that all searches made through the Viewbar will generate additional income to AGLOCO.

Here’s a screenshot of the new statistics table. It is showing the hours of Viewbar usage in the current month and there’s a new column showing the total accumulated hours. It also shows your referrals hours. Keep in my that, to earn all your referrals’ hours you must surf at leat the same hours of them. If you surf 4 hours and they surf 5, you will earn your 4 plus 4 of their 5 hours. Notice the download button.

How do I get paid ?

AGLOCO members are paid by the time they surf the Internet with the Viewbar open. The more you use the Viewbar, the more you get paid.

There is a limit of 5 hours a month. That's only 10 minutes a day during 30 days, or 1 hour a day for 5 days. That's pretty reasonable. After completing the 5 hours/month, additional time will not be considered until next month, which means you may simply turn the Viewbar off until next month.

Besides using the Viewbar, you can reffer friends and increase your earnings !

AGLOCO Hours:

You will accrue hours in your AGLOCO Member account (current maximum is five direct hours a month). Hours are earned during active surfing on the Internet. The Viewbar has a green light on it that notifies the Member when it is accruing time. Your referrals’ surfing will accumulate hours for you at a 25% rate, meaning if one of your referrals surfs for the maximum five hours you will get 1.25 (0.25 x 5) hours credited to your total referral hours. You can only get credit referral hours up to the amount you directly surf (meaning if you surf 3 hours but a referral surfs 4, you will only get credit for the first 3 of your referral’s 4 hours). AGLOCO accrues these hours each month and also has a cumulative total of all hours earned. These hours are what AGLOCO will use to calculate cash and other distributions. The Viewbar contains a one click inactive button which turns it off and removes it from your screen at any time.

How can I reffer friends ?

When you sing up, you receive a member ID and a link that you can send to your friends. The link looks like http://www.agloco.com/r/BBGB0641, where BBGB0641 is replaced by your own member ID.

When your friend joins through your link, he or she becomes part of your AGLOCO Network, and you will also get paid for the hours that your referrals surf with the Viewbar open. • FAQ??

1 - Is this a pyramid?

No. Pyramids - which are illegal- make you pay to participate. To be a member of AGLOCO you pay nothing, which means you risk nothing.

2 - Will my referral earnings be taken from my referrals?

No. Your referrals lose nothing. They keep their full earning, plus you earn for their time using the Viewbar. There is not limit as to how many referrals you can have, and the more people you reffer, the more your earnings will be.

3 - Do I have to reveal personal information when I join?

The ony information asked during sign up are: name, last name, email, city, state, ZIP code and country. Signing up takes less than 5 minutes and is free.

4 - Will the Viewbar install spyware in my computer?

AGLOCO is fully commited to their business and will not ruin it by using spyware. Still, you can always turn the Viewbar off whenever you want. You are in control !

5 - How do I install the Viewbar?

Log in to your AGLOCO account and click the Download Viewbar button,

6 - How much will AGLOCO pay me?

Every month you can surf up to 5 hours. You also win 1.25 hour per member of your network. So if your network has 100 members, you can accumulate 130 hours. But, in order to accumulate the hours of your members, you must surf all of your 5 hours. AGLOCO will pay 90% of the generated revenue (10% will go to the administration). There's no way to tell how much the hours will be worth, because it depends on the revenue generated. It will probably vary each month. AGLOCO has stated that they won't be making any cash distributions during the first months, because they want to cover their costs first, this way making sure they won't pay more than they earn.
